About Red & White

The red & white restaurant is the long term dream of owner and manager Ricardo Rendon. With a passion to provide an authentic Peruvian dining experience, Ricardo brought his family to Australia first working in the hospitality industry. After working here for a long time, Ricardo had to choose between studying for his MBA or opening a business. He decided on the latter and brought a Mexican Restaurant in South Brisbane. At first he contemplated running it as a South American Restaurant but later remembered his nice dream of opening a Peruvian Restaurant to show how beautiful Peruvian food was as well as the vastness of Peruvian culture. Today, red & white provides a unique dining experience and Ricardo and his staff feel privileged to share the great legacy of Peruvian culture and cuisine with his many customers.

About Our Logo

Our logo has been designed by branding specialists Maddison Communications. It is made of three separate elements.

The Sun Halo The first element is the sun halo caused by the heat of the Peruvian desert.

Andean Condor The second element is the Andean condor that can be seen soaring on thermals high in the sky.

Desert Horizon The final element is the horizon line that divides the sky from the desert.

These three visual elements when combined with our name, drawn from the dominant colours of the Peruvian flag and the slogan 'a taste of Peru' complete our logo.
